Here is the Quote of the Month for February, by the Christian political theorist and former prime minister of the Netherlands:
There is not a square inch in the whole domain of our human existence over which Christ, who is Sovereign over all, does not cry: “Mine!”

Notice the “sovereign over all” clause. Seagulls and fishes are not sovereign over all.

No, but they share the same 2 year-old level of petulance with your deity.

God made the universe, it’s His. So He has every right to call everything “Mine!”
“And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.” (Col. 1:17)
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.” (John 1:1-3)

interesting, wow, imagine if we had a 2-year-old-ruler-of-the-universe. i think an immature one of ‘em would probably just drop something large and a bit heavy right on top of ironwolfbreath’s abode, just for being so bru’ish
